Nov 20th open board meeting. Dec 2 meeting and vote count - Friday, November 14, 2008

We are having an open board meeting Nov 20^th at 7PM @ the clubhouse.

The December 2^nd meeting will start at 7PM. We will need the extra time to properly tally votes.

A few weeks ago, via first class mail, you received a ballot to vote on a tax increase to improve the neighborhood and bylaw changes to protect residents in case the tax is a hardship. Please vote. It is important. We can no longer run the community with the current 18 year old budget. I hope you support us. If you lost your ballot, contact me (email preferred, but you can call) and Ill print a special one for you.

Chili Cook-off was a blast - Friday, November 14, 2008

The Chili cook-off was a success. Next year don’t be hesitant to come, even if you didn’t prepare a dish. Only 5-10% of the chili was eaten! Jim and Stacy Fernan won the grand prize (BENO & Vodka) with some of the hottest chili I have tasted. I was bummed(for 2 seconds), because I thought I had a chance, but after tasting only two dishes, I realized I my chili did not stand a chance. There was a pretty humorous dispute if chili can be white vs. red. Don Catterton probably had the best presentation (small & large tasting cups, mints to clear your palate, etc...). The Zak’s was my favorite(and 2^nd place). Michele “The Italian” is talking a pasta party. These events are fun, great way to meet new neighbors, etc. If you are not a cook, come anyway with drink!
