The MBCA meeting was called to order at 8:00 pm. Minutes from April 14, 2009 Beaches improvement meeting and Amended bylaws were available at meeting and online. Motion made by Rich to accept Joel seconded minutes.
Watershed Stewards Academy presented by Steve Fletcher and Pat Neidhart
A group of volunteers in AACO to learn more about the bay, make partnerships, find out how to make things happen. It included 9-10 weeks of course work. They have a proposal put together from their learning experience.
Pat – the last part of the training is to do a community project. The plan is a Family Fun Day – Magothy River Family Fun and Run Off and Explore your Watershed.

MBCA April 14, 2009 Meeting Minutes - Special Beach funding meeting
The MBCA meeting was called to order at 8:00 pm.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss and vote on beach improvement projects. Augie Pasquale gave an overview of the beach improvements planned and the total costs.
Please see page 3 for a complete itemized list of improvements and costs planned for Dividing Road, Cypress Road, and Oak Grove Circle beaches.

Notes from (Sept 24th) beach meeting
o Augie laid out his plans to a warm crowd. Showed everyone what is possible and then ask for feedback via the web.
§ To date we have 40 + folks who volunteered labor. I assume we can kill our trash and mowing contract.
§ We have had volunteers commit to contributing almost $2,000.
