MBCA Board Meeting
11/1/11

Meeting was called to order at 8:00 p.m.
Board members in attendance: Mike Frye, Gerry Ridgeway, Marcelle Lee, Augie Pasquale.
Four additional residents were in attendance.
Discussion:
Boats at beach not parked on racks – needs to be addressed.
No parking signs needed at boat ramp and the Cypress Road Beach – Karl Neidhardt said he would take care of this.
No Secretary report due to absence of secretary.
No Treasurer report due to changeover of treasurer. It was noted that we need to update logins and signature cards.
Mike Frye presented the proposed budget for FY2013. There was a question on the boat slip and why we are apparently losing money. Marcelle will check with Magothy Marina. It was suggested that the rebate figure be reduced to $2000, which may be closer to the actual amount.
Pier project at boat ramp is in the planning phase, will require two permits and two variances. Augie will follow up on status. Also slated is the Oak Grove beachfront update and rock jetty. There was discussion of erosion at the Dividing Road beach, and Karl Neidhardt suggested that there might be extra dirt belonging to a resident that we could use to fill.
Rocks were delivered to the Cypress Road beach and apparently are too large to be moved manually. Augie will see if we can get equipment to help with this. Work day is planned for November 5.
